Hope all you fans out there are having an awesome summer.

BIG NEWS concerning Futurama. Our most favorite space age show is coming back with brand new episodes for 2010! Huzzah! Unfortunatly, FOX doesn't want to pay the high salaries of the original voice actors and is possibly looking for new people to play our old favorites. Curse you FOX!

SMALL NEWS concerning the club.
I'm on the lookout for a fan willing to go where only two fans have gone before. That's right. We need another ADMIN who is willing to handle submissions OR new members. Not both, but an extra hand is always great.

WE NOW HAVE A CONTEST WINNER! After months of a drawn out draw, we recently had an overwhelming number of votes (3) which broke the standstill. It was a close result with entries #2 and #3, but in the end #2 by won. Big thanks to everyone who entered and everyone who voted!

Since the winner was me... I won't take the prize but I might draw some fan art for the club anyway.

My other head nerd and I have a neat idea for our next contest. We also need to discuss some new and easier methods for voting. If any of you have ideas, please feel free to note us or leave a comment.

WE ARE NOT DEAD!!! Just been busy, but the Futurama Nerds are back in business!

A late review for the new Futurama movie, Into the Wild Green Yonder.

Another bucket of laughs is contained on this DVD. The story could be considered a continuation of the previous movies, but it has it's own plot. Leela and Amy go feminist (weren't they already?) and Fry, well, Fry learns a couple of things from his friends in an underground society of tin-foil hats. No spoilers but I'm sure fans of Fry x Leela will be in for a treat!

The DVD is also packed with loads of funny extras. No one will be disappointed.

Into the Wild Green Yonder now has a release date for the USA and Canada. February 24, 2009 (the day after the UK release) is the day that the last Futurama movie will be on shelves.
